Job purpose 

The Casino Shift Manager supports staffing and development needs, recruits and develops staff, and coordinates the Casino Table Games Operation. This role includes assigning projects, evaluating work methods, and resolving issues.

Duties and responsibilities

Ensure Compliance to Rules and Regulations

  • Ensures compliance with all NagaWorld’s standards or relevant industry standards during all aspects of work
  • Ensures adherence to NagaWorld’s Code of Conduct, Internal Rules, and Regulations at all times

General Job Function

  • Resolves customer complaints regarding gaming issues and makes commercial decisions to successfully resolve issues
  • Observes, analyzes, and resolves all issues related to Table Games within established policies and procedures
  • Ensures compliance with gaming laws and regulations, maintaining a safe environment for guests and staff
  • Drives incremental revenue in Public Floor Table Games areas by adjusting table limits and opening more tables based on business demand
  • Provides direction and guidance to the Table Games management team to achieve department goals (KPIs)
  • Defines the roles and responsibilities of each staff member to set clear expectations and minimize conflict
  • Oversees operations and staff during shifts to ensure a smooth, secure, and compliant gaming environment
  • Coordinates with other shifts and departments (Surveillance, Security, Workforce, and Hospitality) to ensure a consistent and high-quality customer experience
  • Communicates efficiently with management about operational issues or significant occurrences during shifts
  • Any other tasks assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education required
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in table game management in a casino environment
  • Must have in-depth knowledge of all casino operations and transactions
  • Demonstrates knowledge and technical skills related to Casino Systems
  • Able to extract and interpret gaming data, possesses good analytical skills, and can make appropriate recommendations and take corrective actions
  • Strong leadership skills to manage and inspire a team
  • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members, stakeholders, and customers
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a gaming license (CGMC) application
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PPT, Word, and Outlook
  • English Language proficiency

Working conditions

This position may require extended working hours and may include evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
