Job purpose

The Director of Casino Marketing leads a team responsible for developing, executing, and analyzing short and long term plans intended to increase visits, revenue, and profitability from carded and uncarded casino customers.

Duties and responsibilities

Ensure Compliance to Rules and Regulations

  • Ensures compliance with all NagaWorld’s standards or relevant industry standards during all aspects of work
  • Ensures adherence to NagaWorld’s Code of Conduct, Internal Rules, and Regulations at all times

Monitor and Oversee Financial Management of the Department

  • Communicates results with upper management based on approved monthly, quarterly, and annual marketing plans and budgets
  • Develops, executes, and revises policies and procedures to achieve profit and volume objectives
  • Maintains controls on finances, including labor costs, to maximize efficiency and effectiveness of operations
  • Periodic reviews of reward club benefit matrix to maximize profitability within each database player segment
  • Implements and oversees guests’ complimentary procedures in accordance with the company policy and profitability standards

Manage the Staff

  • Leads the on-site marketing teams to ensure flawless execution of marketing strategies, including the identification of ways to increase efficiencies or improve customer service in order to maximize productivity and meet growth objectives
  • Interviews, selects, hires, and promotes team members
  • Identifies and provides the training and development required to equip employees with the tools to meet performance standards
  • Oversees the performance management of employees, including but not limited to disciplinary action and termination

Develop, Plan and Deliver Programs and Services

  • Works directly with the Vice President to drive the development of a property calendar of promotions, entertainment, and event initiatives through coordination with internal teams to achieve the most profitable outcome
  • Formulates new promotional concepts, ideas, services, and gaming options based on data findings
  • Oversees the strategy, design, implementation, maintenance, and expansion of club promotions and events to secure profitable repeat visitation and/or attract new members
  • Meets established objectives by working with staff to plan short and long term goals, identifies problems and implements solutions, and establishes policies and procedures
  • Works with the casino analyst to identify necessary analysis and definition of the market for growth and development and complete cost/benefit analysis on proposed and ongoing marketing programs

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a casino marketing environment focused on service provision & operations
  • Knowledge and experience of using enterprise casino systems
  • Experienced working in an Integrated Resort focused on destination marketing
  • Experienced participating in a medium or large scale pre-opening project
  • English Language proficiency and Mandarin dialect is a plus

Working conditions

This position may require extended working hours and may include evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
