IT Software Development Manager
Job purpose
IT Software Development Manager leads a team of programmers to design, develop, implement, and maintain some in-house developed software to meet business needs.
Duties and responsibilities
Ensure Compliance to Rules and Regulations
- Ensures compliance with all NagaWorld’s standards or relevant industry standards during all aspects of work
- Ensures adherence to NagaWorld’s Code of Conduct, Internal Rules, and Regulations at all times
IT Manager (Software Development) has the below mentioned duties/responsibilities,
- Technical Management
- To plan, standardize and manage technologies and its transition in the long run.
- To ensure good technical documentation is in place and technical training are provided to programmers.
- Project Management
- To manage, plan and update project plan (task breakdown, resources, duration & schedule) from requirement gathering, feasibility study, defining scope of work, solution design, seeking approval, development, acceptance testing, documentation/training until going live (release to production).
- Team Management
- To provide guidance and mentorship, helping programmers to grow and develop the necessary technical skills while working on the projects.
- To plan for backup personnel and regular technical trainings for programmers
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT/Computer Science or equivalent education required
- Minimum 5 years of experience in software development with good knowledge in Node JS, Python, PHP, Docker/Kubernetes, Flutter, SQL/MySQL & etc
- Below mentioned experiences are the added advantages:
- Currently managing/leading a programming team
- Good knowledge in Oracle databases
- Good knowledge in IOS & Android mobile applications development
- Good English and communication skills are essential
Working conditions
Standard business hours apply to this role but be prepared for extending technical support (incident handling) to odd hours due to our business operating 24X7 throughout the year.
