IT PROGRAMMER
Job purpose
The IT Programmer develops new applications and enhances existing ones based on received requirements. This role involves coding, testing, and implementing software solutions to meet business needs and improve operational efficiency.
Duties and responsibilities
Ensure Compliance to Rules and Regulations
- Ensures compliance with all NagaWorld standards or relevant industry standards during all aspects of work
- Ensures all employees adhere to NagaWorld’s Code of Conduct, Internal Rules and Regulations at all times
General Job Functions
- Develops and maintains new applications using Java or .Net technologies
- Troubleshoots and fixes existing application bugs
- Prepares technical documentation and user guides
- Prepares references for users by writing operating instructions
- Encodes project requirements by converting workflow information into computer language
- Confirms program operation by conducting tests and modifying program sequence and/or codes
- Ensures the operation of equipment by following manufacturer’s instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, calling for repairs, and evaluating new equipment and techniques
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Any other tasks assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education required
- Minimum 3 years of work experience in Information Technology and/or Programming fields
- Proven troubleshooting and analytical skills to resolve problems faster
- Experience with the implementation and use of API interfaces in the development of mobile solutions (REST experience preferred)
- Experience with object-oriented design methodology, mobile applications across iOS and Android, and websites running on WordPress is a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PPT, Word, and Outlook
- English Language proficiency
Working conditions
This position may require extended working hours and may include evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
