PIT BOSS
Job Purpose
The Pit Boss is responsible for ensuring compliance with rules and regulations within the casino. This includes monitoring game operations to ensure House rules are followed and ensuring employees provide prompt and courteous service. Additionally, the Pit Boss manages the casino staff by orienting and developing them to meet standard performance levels. This role involves planning, organizing, directing, and coordinating the Casino Operation’s work plan, as well as meeting with staff to identify and resolve problems.
Duties and responsibilities
Ensure Compliance to Rules and Regulations
- Ensures compliance with all NagaWorld’s standards or relevant industry standards during all aspects of work
- Ensures adherence to NagaWorld’s Code of Conduct, Internal Rules, and Regulations at all times
Genereal Job Functions
- Supervises casino table games, ensures fair play, manages staff and customer disputes, and oversees gaming operations
- Notifies Surveillance personnel and CSM on duty of suspected misappropriation
- Handles disputes and customer complaints, resolving issues promptly
- Monitors and drives incremental revenue in Public Floor Table Games areas by adjusting table limits and opening more tables based on business demand
- Ensures compliance with gaming regulations and company policies, with a strong understanding of legal requirements and industry standards
- Defines roles and responsibilities, setting clear expectations to minimize conflict and confusion
- Provides direction and guidance to Table Games staff, striving to exceed department goals (KPIs)
- Demonstrates knowledge and technical skills related to the current casino system and all casino transactions
- Understands, complies with, and enforces company and departmental SOPs, policies, rules, and procedures
- Any other tasks assigned
Qualifications
- High School Graduate or equivalent education required
- Minimum 3 years of experience in table game management in a casino environment
- Knowledge of casino rules, regulations, and procedures pertinent to gaming operations
- Solid knowledge of all current casino systems
- Ability to obtain and maintain a gaming license (CGMC) application
- Strong supervisory and communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PPT, Word, and Outlook
- English Language proficiency
Working conditions
This position may require extended working hours and may include evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
