Job purpose

Under the general supervision of the Duty Manager/Guest Service Manager, the Receptionist is responsible for guest registration, check-out, and cashiering. This role also involves facilitating and providing assistance with guests’ queries to ensure a smooth and pleasant experience. The Receptionist plays a key role in maintaining high standards of guest service and ensuring efficient front desk operations.

Duties and responsibilities

Ensure Compliance to Rules and Regulations

  • Ensures compliance with all NagaWorld’s standards or relevant industry standards during all aspects of work
  • Ensures adherence to NagaWorld’s Code of Conduct, Internal Rules, and Regulations at all times

General Job Functions

  • Greets and checks in guests
  • Assists with guest inquiries and requests
  • Handles guest check-out and billing
  • Maintains cleanliness and order at the front desk
  • Ensures guest satisfaction and resolves complaints
  • Promotes hotel services and amenities
  • Coordinates with other departments
  • Maintains confidentiality of guest information
  • Any other tasks assigned

Qualifications

  • High School Graduate or equivalent education required
  • Fresh graduate is encouraged to apply
  • Minimum 1 years of experience in hotel/hospitality is preferred
  • Passionate in dealing with people
  • Experienced in Opera system is an advantage
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook, is preferred
  • English Language proficiency and Mandarin Language proficiency is a plus

Working conditions

This position may require extended working hours and may include evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
