Job purpose

Directs and organizes Slot and Table Gaming technical operational activities, ensuring that efficient technical support is available at all times and that the Slot Machine Department operates in a manner that promotes guests’ perception of NagaWorld as an exciting entertainment experience. Aims to ensure that all guests receive excellent service, fostering the perception that NagaWorld is an establishment offering excitement and an unparalleled gaming experience. The Assistant Slot Technical Manager is also required to perform all duties in accordance with NagaWorld policies and within the framework of the company’s vision, mission, and values.

Duties and responsibilities

Ensure Compliance to Rules and Regulations

  • Ensures compliance with all NagaWorld’s standards or relevant industry standards during all aspects of work
  • Ensures adherence to NagaWorld’s Code of Conduct, Internal Rules, and Regulations at all times

General Job Functions

  • Ensures the development of the annual budget and compliance with NagaWorld standards and Cambodian Gaming Regulations
  • Recruits and develops staff to exceed performance standards while ensuring appropriate staffing levels
  • Plans, organizes, and directs the Slot Machine Technical Department work plan, assigning projects and evaluating work methods
  • Focuses on the career advancement of technical staff through measurable assessments and training programs
  • Ensures the efficient operation, maintenance, and repair of all slot machines
  • Assists in planning and implementing changes to slot games and layouts
  • Monitors players for improper use of machinery and reports any cheating attempts to management and security
  • Troubleshoots and repairs slot machines and related equipment, including circuit boards
  • Performs preventative maintenance and manages repair logs for all slot machines
  • Any other tasks assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education required; minimum 8 years of experience in slot machine management within a casino environment
  • Knowledge of gaming equipment configuration and repair of electrical, electronic, and mechanical equipment
  • Familiarity with Casino Management Systems and Jackpot Media systems; experience with Bally SDS and Paltronics is advantageous
  • Ability to set and meet high service standards, fostering a culture of quality among the workforce
  • Good understanding of slot operations, including progressive jackpot systems, inventory control, and staff development
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, PPT, Word, and Outlook
  • English language proficiency

Working conditions

This position may require extended working hours and may include evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
